Angie Harmon was an American actor, model, and vocalist who appeared in a variety of television and film productions in the last few decades. She began modeling, however once she was recognized internationally, she decided to take on acting. The beginning of her acting career came in 1995 when she starred on the TV show 'Baywatch Nights. Harmon's voice was used in an animated film version of 'Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker.' Harmon took a decision early in 2000 that she would not be doing TV acting and concentrate solely on movies. Then, in the beginning of 2000 the actress returned to television series after a short stint in films. She was among the only actresses to discreetly show off naked for The magazine "Allure," in the year 2008. Her major work has been in the role of the detective Jane Rizzoli on TNT series 'Rizzoli & Isles'. When she played the role of Detective, Harmon was frequently praised and awarded.
